For my G memory I am actually telling about a memory that I miss out on except through pictures. Every Christmas my daughter-in-law and my 2 grandkids always make a gingerbread house. Unfortunately, I live 4 1/2 hours away so I'm never there when the fun happens. It's not all bad though because they always send me pictures. Thank heavens for cameras!
Until next time...that's my
Kat
Kat, they are adorable. You should look into SKYPE, then you can be there via the computer screen. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThank you Daphne. the Skype is a great idea. Those are old pictures so they are a few years older now but I still think they are adorable; but then I am very partial. :D
Deletesweet. really.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Sandra. I think they are pretty special!
DeleteWonderful to have the experience shared no matter how.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI will absolutely drive myself into the ground to do things like these for our boys because I believe that they are deposits into their lives, who they are and who they become. Each memory, woven together becomes their life story, as I'm sure you know. Good job, daughter-in-law!
Your grandchildren will remember doing this! Thanks for sharing!
Amy, I agree it is so important to build lasting memories with your kids or grandkids. I admire you for making that a priority with your children.
DeleteI LOVE gingerbread! Especially with American Butter Cream Icing! Yum! And I think it's awesome that they did a manger scene with their gingerbread house!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit Beth that I don't like to eat gingerbread but I love gingerbread houses and gingerbread characters! :D
