Enjoying a Beautiful Fall Afternoon

Last Friday afternoon I spent a leisurely afternoon just enjoying the beautiful fall countryside.  I drove through southern Indiana to a very popular farm known for it's good food and family fun.  The farm, known as "Huber's" is a long drive to the middle of nowhere, but well worth your time.  I hope you enjoy my pictorial tour as much as I enjoyed my adventure.
The Lake, complete with ducks
Pulling up to the Farmers Market

Peace and love to all.  I hope you have a wonderful season, whatever that may be in your part of the world.
Until next time...that's my view.

  5. I love see your part of the country. It's been a very long time since I've been down your way (use to drive truck 20 years ago). Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a great night sleep. Blessings my friend.

  7. Gorgeous pics! I took a look at your profile info over on the right and am trying really hard not to be even a wee bit jealous. I've lived in suburbia (more city than country, for sure) for almost all of my life and I really, really want to move out to the country. We're in the process of looking for places with some acreage, and when the right one comes along, we'll know it. I keep thinking "red barn, black & white cow, room to roam." :O)

  8. @ Word Nerd - I'm glad you enjoyed my pictures. Living in the country is great. I can't imagine living in the big city. A little word of advice...forget the black and white cow. We have a whole farm full and they have to be milked twice a day, 365 days a year; no holidays off. The rest of your dream sounds wonderful. Get you a nice horse instead. LOL

  9. LOL! I did see a really cool life-sized cow statue. Maybe that'd be a better choice for me...
